In larger cities, travelers can choose between the local currency and US dollars when withdrawing cash from ATMs.
The current limit for withdrawing cash at ATMs with a foreign card (Travel Card, EC/Maestro Card, etc.) is about USD 300.– (equivalent).
Credit cards are recommended for car rentals. Prepaid cards are generally accepted for payment but not for reservations. Please check the possible payment methods with the car rental company in advance.
