Travel documents for Swiss citizens

Passport still valid 3 months or more after end of stay with visa and return or onward travel ticket for stays up to 3 months.
Tourist visas are issued with arrival at the airport Beirut or at the border crossings (except at the border with Israel).
But it is recommended to procure the visa in advance. Passports with Israeli visa (entry stamp) may cause considerable difficulty or denied entry.

  • Vaccination against diphtheria, tetanus, hepatitis A, polio and measles recommended.

  • International driver's license required.

  • Minimum age for car rentals: 21 to 25 (varies by company).
