  • Additional risks result from the unpredictable behavior of many road users who often disregard the traffic rules in effect. Particular attention should be paid in La Paz.
    Use so-called Radio Taxis (illuminated roof sign displaying the company name and telephone number) or hotel taxis.
    Agree on the taxi fare with the driver in advance; possibly inquire about usual fares at the hotel beforehand.
