Minimum age for car rentals: 21 to 25 (varies by company).
Additional risks result from the unpredictable behavior of many road users who often disregard the traffic rules in effect. Particular attention should be paid in La Paz.
Use so-called Radio Taxis (illuminated roof sign displaying the company name and telephone number) or hotel taxis.
Agree on the taxi fare with the driver in advance; possibly inquire about usual fares at the hotel beforehand.
